Cow dung is made of the dung of Indian Cow breeds especially of Gir. Cow dung is made within 100 meters of Tryambakamshala where every day 4 hours of Tryambakam Yajnya is performed and within 150 meters where different other Yajnyas are performed every day. This means cow dung is exposed to Mantras.
